Downlink task

Task type: dphi.space.cg2.downlink

Purpose​

Downlink files from a specific volume and file path onboard Clustergate-2 and store them in the namespace file area.

Inputs​

  • id: Name of the task.
  • description: Optional description of the task.
  • source: Required list of remote paths to downlink. Wildcard matching is an onboard implementation detail and is not guaranteed by the task schema.
  • destination: Required namespace path where files should land after downlink.
  • volume: Required volume name to downlink the files from.

Outputs​

  • files: List of files uploaded to the namespace paths. An explicit empty list means that no file was uploaded; it is different from no task result being reported.
  • uri: Location of the downlink archive.
  • contentType: Archive MIME type.
  • contentLength: Total bytes of the uploaded files, when the result provides it; do not interpret it as a guaranteed archive size.

Common failure reasons​

  • Source list is empty or contains invalid paths.
  • Destination path is invalid.
  • Volume is missing
